The Canadian Aquatic Invasive Species Network is a national league of specialists created to examine and identify existing invasions of non-native species in our coastal waters and inland lakes, rivers and streams. Our goal is to prevent new species from harming Canada's aquatic ecosystem.This blog is published and updated to bring awareness to this often overlooked issue. Hugh MacIsaac In Hamilton

On Saturday, May 8th, CAISN's Hugh MacIsaac will appear at the Bay Area Restoration Council Spring Workshop to share our research into the AIS phenomena. He will be joined by fellow noted experts Thys Theysemer, Jennifer Nalbone and Lindsay Chadderton.
